How to get a library card

Library Card

Who can get a library card, how to apply, and how to use your library card.

Who can obtain a library card:

Any West Union or  Fayette County resident 18 years or older.

Any card holder from libraries with which we have reciprocal borrowing agreements (Open Access program)

Children 5-17 years of age with parental signature

How to obtain a library card:

Need a photo identification and identification with current address on it.

Fill out an application form at circulation desk.

Using our library card:

All cards will be completed at the time patron applies. New cardholders are limited for two months to 2 items per check out.

First card is free. Replacement card cost $.50
